  • Dental Care for Persons with Disabilities is not only the largest in Canada but is a National Centre of Excellence because regardless of the severity of the disability we can provide them with appropriate dental/oral health care.  
  • Surgical reconstruction of the temporomandibular joint, artificial jaw joint replacement. Only funded program in Ontario, largest such clinical research program in Canada, known as a National Centre of Excellence.
  • Only adult dental emergency hospital service in the downtown core: for management of fractures of the jaws / face and of severe / life threatening infections of dental origin. Busiest dental emergency service in Canada. 
  • Home of the internationally renowned Graduate Program in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery for management of complex surgical maxillo-facial rehabilitation and re-construction.
  • Largest clinical oral pathology and oral medicine program, in conjunction with ENT in Canada for the diagnosis and management of lesions of the oral cavity, including oral cancer.  Centre for the clinical training of the Graduate Program in Oral Pathology and Oral Medicine.
